Dr. Zhiqun Zhu, a UB analyst and specialist on Asia was one of the commentators for BBC News. He’s an assistant professor of political economy in the International College. The talks involved the two Koreas, China, the US, Japan and Russia.“The U.S. has nothing to offer. Zhu spent the past summer doing research on U.S.-North Korean relations at the East-West Center in Hawaii. He was chosen as a POSCO fellow and in October he did a presentation to faculty on the findings of his research which was later published by the Korean Times.
